Again - a Fox News affiliate was
Hah.. It was a Fox News TV affiliate that broke the story. They were on top of it unlike the newspaper media outlets.

If the employees are being stalked, why don't they just shoot the reporters?

No, if you're getting stalked, you jump the stalker, and slam his head into the pavement.

You just better hope the reporter isn't armed.

You'd really think they could have at least spelled his name right.

If somebody is following me around for no reason, I view that as a threat, and yes I might knock out the jackass. Probably not these days, because I'm smarter than to get into a fistfight at 41 years old, but at 18 _ very possible.

There are a lot of facts still to be sorted through in this case, and I'm happy to wait them out before I decide if Zimmerman should go to jail. But one thing seems certain, Zimmerman is at fault for this. Not sure that makes him a criminal, but this mess started because he did something extremely stupid on many levels _ but mostly because he was told to stop following the kid and he didn't.

I've never said Zimmerman wasn't wrong.

But, they might both be wrong.

Which brings us back to the original point:

The event itself, while upsetting, is a whole lot less upsetting than the cover-up and refusal to prosecute.

Honest question for those who have followed this more closely than I. Actually, a couple of questions.

    1. Zimmerman has been described as a member of a neighborhood watch. Was it some kind of official neighborhood watch? Were their other members, or was he the only one? And, if it was official, was it in any way accredited by or registered with the local police?

I would think that an official neighborhood watch would have at least an informal relationship with the local PD.

    2. Martin was described as acting suspiciously, right? To me, someone walking through side yards, or backyards, or peering through windows would be "acting suspiciously" -- regardless of race. If someone is walking down the sidewalk/street, it would be hard for me to imagine how that was suspicious.

Do we know where Martin was when first observed?

    3. OK, last one I think. Martin was in a car at first, right? Then he "lost" him? Did he stay in his car until right before the confrontation? Did he pursue him on foot?

Just curious. Trying to imagine what happened, and I also would guess a lot of these questions may be in dispute.
