You seem to be hammering on a rush to convict, while the rest of the world is talking about the failure to arrest. Those are different.

Fair enough. But so far hard to see any evidence of wrong-enough-to-be-shot. Maybe that changes.

    I think you're right. Sadly.

Did I miss anybody posting this? Sanford was famous years ago for running Jackie Robinson out of town during spring training.

I used to stay in Sanford for the Daytona 500. That's all I've got. :D

Doesn't the bolded part suggest he was in his car at first?

I'm not looking for an argument. That's why I asked.

I posted a couple of links that say he was in his car. Post something that says something different if this is wrong, or in question.

Ah fuck. I screwed up the names. I meant was Zimmerman in a car first, not Martin.

In Florida, the stand your ground rule means, see a Black kid wearing a hoodie in your neighborhood, call 911, shoot first and hide from public view.

    “What’s your problem, homie?”

    “You got me . . .”

    'Official' version sounds, um, inauthentic.

Hardly conclusive, but does Zimmerman appear injured in this video from the night of the shooting?

Hard to tell from that distance. Story put out by the Sanford police was that he had bloody nose, bruises on back of his head and grass stains. He was treated by paramedics at scene, so maybe their report would clarify.
If he had a bloody nose I would think that his shirt would have some blood. Seems like it would be simple enough to verify.
One thing that seems obvious is that the guy is not 250 LBS. Perhaps he lost a lot of blood.

Not just 'bloody' nose, 'broken' nose per Zimmerman's attorney.

    www.csmonitor.com/USA/Latest-News-Wires/2012/0329/New-police-video-casts-doubt-on-George-Zimmerman-injuries

Zimmerman's attorney, Craig Sonner, has said in more than one interview that his client's nose was broken during the fight with Martin.

Again - easy enough to prove. Maybe there is x-rays.

I also would like to see Zimmerman step on a scale.
