"White supremacist hacker" is not a pleasant phrase.

 

Jesus fucking Christ.

I mean, fuck.

 

Post-racial America is a lot like Racial America.

 

Man oh man. It's things like that, and the seeming everyday nature of them, that reaffirm my belief that the Internet has been a net negative for humanity.

 

Unfortunately, in this day and age, the amount of information -- germane or not -- that's out there about an individual is bound to lead to some of it falling into the wrong hands once said individual is part of a big story like this. Doubly unfortunate is that legitimate media outlets don't seem at all concerned with trying to disemminate anymore information than what has been used to frame the story originally.

 

The urge to slander a dead child comes from a darker place than dissatisfaction with perceived media bias, I'm sorry.

It's inhuman.

He was a kid. From all available information, a heartbreakingly average American kid.

 

I ask this as a serious question: Where does this white supremacist hacking fall in comparison to the Black Panthers' murder bounty on the What The Fuck Is Wrong With People Scale?

On a related note given the racial aspect of this story, has there been any news or discussion on this thread (I've been mostly out of the loop for the last week) about the reaction from the Hispanic community?

 

The inhuman part is a given. The "all available information" part is what I'm referring to. There's a lot of information out there these days, and with a story like this, trying to put it into context is important. I'm not talking so much about bias as I am laziness.
