Peter King reporting that the Bucs have signed Jeff Garcia to a two-year contract. So maybe the Bucs really do trade Plummer to Houston.

Plummer will never show up in Tampa and the trade will be voided. Plummer and Shanahan are having a pissing match right now.

And it's looking like Plummer just might win.
But let me get this straight, regardless of whether Plummer plays for Tampa, the Bucs still give up a draft pick to Denver?

There's probably a decent chance the Bucs will trade him elsewhere, like Houston or Oakland...

and i'm sure the deal is conditional on plummer playing again -- whether it be for for either the bucs or whomever they trade him to.

No doubt, but Plummer is still a bad, bad quarterback.

Plummer posted on his Web site that he's officially retiring.

The Denver Post reported this morning Plummer filed retirement papers with the NFL office late Friday. And his mom told The Post that he's quitting.

"Yes, that's it," Marilyn Plummer, Jake's mother, told The Denver Post when asked Friday if her son had retired. "I thought this would happen from the moment the season ended. He needs a break, but I foresee him doing something else. He's a lot like Pat Tillman. Pat would do something unexpected. Jake used to say, 'I wonder what Pat would have done next.' Jake is a lot like Pat. He has that same rebel soul."

I'm waiting for Grizzly Adams Jake to show up in Montana so I can molest him.

Uhh...that's pretty insulting to Tillman's memory. Unless Jake is going to serve.

    Quote of the year. :D
