A reporter asked Winston's attorney if the victim or her family was connected to the University of Alabama.

serious question: will hard-line heisman voters invoke the integrity clause in the wake of revelations that winston and chris casher regularly double-team girls?

joke part: or will they just consider it a team-building exercise?

i'm not saying enough to prevent him from winning. but based on some the questions his lawyer was asked, i wouldn't be surprised if some did and made a public show of how morally upright they and the candidate they voted for are.

I hope the catholic voters do not vote for any masturbators. The integrity clause and all.

Shouldn't the NCAA suspend Winston? He got treatment a non student-athlete would not get because of his status as an athlete.

Spoken by a person who has no knowledge of things work in Tallahassee. Willie Meggs has been elected to seven terms as state attorney and throughout, has been known as a guy who does not show favortism to FSU athletes, especially football players. If he had the evidence, he would have prosecuted.

I can't comment on Willie Meggs except to say he does not appear to be as universally beloved as you make him out to be.

However, Willie Meggs isn't the fix. The fact that the police didn't bring the case to Willie Meggs until the media forced their hand 10 months later, that was the fix.
