Do I think they are ready for it? Nope, but when it happens they sure will love it!

Call me crazy all you want. If you'd like to place a friendly wager - like the pols do during Super Bowl week - I'll gladly do so.
Even more on the crazy side, if it is McCain-Obama, I don't even think it will be as close as people think. I honestly believe McCain will win in a landslide. Obama is unelectable.

I'll take you up on that. What spread did you have in mind? McCain by 10?

Do you want a spread or do you want to go even? I mean according to all the polls they are even. Just because I believe it will be a landslide doesn't mean I'm going to bet that way. Hell I did think the Patriots were going to clobber the Giants in the Super Bowl.

Let me throw this out as something to ponder. Assume Obama holds on to the delegate lead once the primaries are all done and all the superdelegates have made their pick.

So, Obama gets the Democrat nod and McCain has the GOP. Then comes the shocker: indefatigable Hillary declares herself a third-party candidate and picks Bloomberg as a running mate, and Bloomberg pumps $200 million into their campaign.

Now don't you think that would make for an interesting November election??

I see this thread has gone over to the psychedelic side.

I'll set up my mushroom stand over here, but you might want to try Red's. They seem stronger.

There's more of them than you think. My mom, a few of my uncles and aunts, and 1/2 of my cousins 21+ have college degrees and hasn't stepped into a voting booth. Out of them, about 6 of them only do it during a presidential election.

Which makes me a freak because I go to the polls for anything that comes up in my town (schools, tax levy, referendums, municipal elections).

Was this column in the Star sports section today?

    http://www.kansascity.com/sports/columnists/jason_whitlock/story/698835.html

    It's about Tech N9ne (or, is that, T3ch neye9?)

Either way, it doesn't seem to be a sports column.
