Some people routinely violate the #1 rule of this board and nothing is done about. I think that is what has some people upset or at least not completely pleased.

 

Rule #1 is you don't talk about Rule #1.

 

I'd agree there. Things get out of hand and completely off topic sometimes.
However, you need infinite patience to run a board like this, and I'd never have it.

 

Since finding the Anything Goes board I've found it to be quite a place.
In the matter of two days I've started a thread about my dying grandpa, thanks to all those who voiced their experiences on that thread, and posted a picture of a cat inside a toilet and a half-naked Fabio.
Does the Fabio picture have any real merit? No, but I appreciate that the moderators aren't word nazis and let people get away with a little more on this board than say the Sports and News and Journalism Topics only board.
Granted, the threads that are started with no real point should be kept to a minimum, but I appreciate the absurd aspect to this board. You can't put rules on creativity IMO.
