    Hilarious. That's the difference between someone who gets girls and someone who would like to: It all seems so difficult and unattainable. One has to 'pay' for a good-looking girl's company.

    MMac, I've always thought you were cool. And you're certainly better than falling into this type of canard.

    John, your threads are not the most entertaining on here. Sorry. If the board was filled with morons, I wouldn't be here. One of you is amusing; like watching a child try to blow a bubble. But it's amusing to a point. And it isn't the reason for this board. This board has some amazing, intelligent, perceptive, accomplished people. You are so self-absorbed (and the funny part is that there isn't all that much that is impressive about you) that you don't realize WHO some of the people who post on here are. Many of them do it with anonymity, and they let their intelligence and wit and knowledge speak for them on here. Some of them are fairly well-known "names" (that being the thing that matters most to you, I think). But they aren't insecure and they are accomplished enough at what they do that they have no need to trumpet their education or their resume or the IQ to the world--particularly on an internet message board. I like having you here. The cluelessness is amusing. I welcome it. But damn, you really need to get a grip on reality.

    You have no idea what you'll be missing. And if one other thing which I don't really want to talk about here had come down - JDV knows what I'm talking about - it REALLY would have been a blowout, even crazier than what it already will be. :)

    Hey MV, ok serious response since you have been much cooler lately.

    I ABSOLUTELY know the poll results before I put them up (I have been in politics for a long time remember poll results are largely driven by the question asked & how it is framed). Plus, I know all the Pavlovian JDV "dogs" I have following me around on SJ.

    I also know the "red meat" those dogs want to eat & what will amuse the Villa Army & my wider audience. Thus, the polls are all part of the full JDV experience and give everyone what they want.

    You see what you want to see in those polls, or said better - what I want you to see.

    Believe me, I know what my audience (pro & anti JDV) wants to see & I give it to them. Think Vince K McMahon.

    Also, the polls drive my thread views up and make the threads more entertaining.

    That is the 100% honest answer MV

    Oh, yes like VKM you are correct that I am going to do what I want anyway (bc I know better than most of my audience as to what they want which is why they watch me).
