Maybe the swimsuit manufacturers buy ads.

Knew you'd be along with your social warrior standard flying high. A young stud like yourself saying he doesn't like strip clubs? You lying, son. Are you one of those guys who'd never cop to looking at porn or jerking off?

I absolutely believe Pearlman has long hated the SI swimsuit issue. He's also the guy who tells us he does, while mentioning his own kid's achievements in the same blog.

I think I'm the bizzaro Jeff in so many ways.

I loved the SI Swimsuit issue as a kid.

    And I'm a girl. And I'm straight.

To me the women were (and are) so beautiful. The photography was (and is) stunning.

    Love the swimsuits....

I remember the... I believe 25th Anniversary Issue... article about all the former cover models... and one looked stunningly sensational in her 50s... beautiful skin... and she said it was because she used sunscreen like a maniac.

That tidbit got me using sunscreen like a maniac for the next 20-30 years... changed my life.

    *****

I interviewed for a lowest-rung editorial job at SI in my 20s. I was asked by the (female) editor what I thought of the Swimsuit Issue.

    Said I loved it.

    Wrong answer.

You realize you aren't commenting on what people are writing but what you expect them to be thinking. Right?

Had a page ripped out of SI of Marissa Miller on my closet door and another on the inside of the door to my room. I can make the trip back home and they still hang. I've come to two conclusions: My parents have empty nest or - I think it's this one - my dad spends a lot of time in my old room.

Someone is going to find that apartment within a few days and cause a lot of trouble.

Isn't that the same as the ending of that Bartman story where the guy doesn't knock on the door?
