To quote Michael Jordan, "Republicans buy shoes, too."

At least he was transparent and honest about knowing how he might come off.

In fairness, the political stuff really "is what it is." I'm not saying writers can't be three-dimensional people.

But I think the SBB mentions on Twitter never had to happen and is frankly something another journalist should not emulate.

    Pardon my ignorance ...

    But I have a question ....

When Jeff was talking about his piece on SBB ...

Who was the piece for ?

    His blog ?

Or is he currently writing for a publication or news org ?

It's interesting if he's just writing for himself.

It's quite a bit of work to be putting in for your own blog.

It's like the Seinfeld episode when Kramer thinks that he's really working.

I don't know if I saw this anywhere, or if I'm just assuming it, but I figure it was for Bleacher Report. He's done several features for them the past few years.

A few people have been fired after publishing their thoughts to the pretend world of virtual nonsense. Some game...

I think Pearlman was right. And he was right that Alma was right.

I usually try to be funny or informative on Twitter (or both). I started off being real careful about truly pissing off people because I was a sports editor.

Now that I am not I still try to be careful not to be too mean or out there or whatever, but that's probably more my personality.

I do think that it's interesting that people see "lanes" for themselves on Twitter (or you are scolded to stay in your lane), when it really should be whatever the hell you want to say.

No one's saying he can't be whatever he wants to be on Twitter. It's just that he wants to be a humorless dick, which, in his defense, gets people talking. Until he blocks them.
