In the big picture? You're a good dude and that's what really matters.

Thanks. I managed that even being around you for three years. That should be on my resume. :)

People are human. Some more than others. Maybe it's because I come from a big family with four older brothers, but the dynamic around here rarely gets to me. I know Gee doesn't really want me to die in a fire. But humans are an emotional lot. We say and do things we often regret. But rarely is it personal. And if you take every perceived slight that way, you'll spend your whole life angry and confused. I was there for a long time, but life has a way of putting you in your place. For better or worse.

    There in lies the problem.
There should be no profit from this or any other message board.
In fact, the entire Internet should be socialized.

I want to get a share of that Internet money, too.

I just find it laughable that human adults would literally ignore people they disagree with. And "cut them out" of their lives for the smallest grievances. Seems like a sad and boring way to go about life.

    Therapy would do them well.

Eh. Life is short. If ignoring a few people helps folks enjoy the time they spend here more, I don't see how that's a bad thing. Once the list starts getting lengthy, that should probably spur some self-examination (insert Raylan Givens video here), but an ignore here or there can have its uses.

(For the record, I ignore exactly zero people.)

A lot of people would benefit from therapy. I thought it was wankery until I went. It was huge for me. Not ashamed to say that.

Just the idea that ignoring people you disagree with will somehow make life easier is silly. It will likely do the opposite. Life is nothing if not a series of figuring out how to adapt to less-than-ideal circumstances.
