She should. A transfer would not save her. Ask Whitey Bulger. Wait, you can't.

All-time great comment there (impossible to miss the thread, it's to the right of the story):

Oh so now she wants to be a snitch!

Every American man, woman and child will pay 87 cents to the victim fund. You're kidding yourself if JP Morgan pays it all out of pocket.

That's a lot of money to try to just make this go away, given that they weren't Jeffrey Epstein. ... they were doing business with the man, not engaging in his behavior with the girls. I don't agree that they "got off easy." That is a bigger price than I would have imagined -- the victims would get or JP Morgan would agree to pay. I wish I knew what the calculus is for them.

What I do know is that for that amount of money, it doesn't actually make it go away. ... because the U.S. Virgin Islands is still coming after JP Morgan, and Jes Staley being a scumbag is going to dog JP Morgan as the suits play out, even if they can convince a court that he should be held liable, not the company.

One thing I am not entirely clear on, although I am sure I could find the answer somehow. ... if they win their suit against Staley, does it mean he will be on the hook for that $290 million (which he will not have), or will it just allow them to clawback $80 million from him (which I am betting he doesn't have either)?

Snitching on inmates and getting them sent to solitary is likely to start an immediate and very personal beef. Maxwell is trash but that's a different dynamic.

It’s called insurance. Also why insurance companies are the biggest land owners in our country.
