She's irrelevant to me. I haven't watched SportsCenter in years. I didn't even know who she was until I read about her on here.

He stole that quote from me talking about my job.

That sounds like a you problem, then. Jemele Hill might be a lot of things but she clearly isn't irrelevant. The fact you didn't know who she was is an indictment on your ignorance.

But she's not nearly as relevant as she thinks she is.

Her relevancy is irrelevant. You're relevant just by being on ESPN. Chris Berman was relevant. He didn't make a vital contribution to the national conversation on anything for roughly 20 years.

So it's whether Hill's doing that or not. And everybody has their own measurements of "vital," but I'm consistently struck by how often she seems to think representational statements - or basic declarative statements - further the conversation.

Yeah I'm as ignorant as f**k. I don't know how I've managed a Division I beat for 23 years in this business. I'll put my resume up against yours any day of the week clown.

I was double checking that poster's initials and making sure the last one was a T and not an H.

It's almost impressive how consistently wrong you are about things.

She was relevant by Her daily appearance on SportsCenter 5days a week at 6pm for 1year. She’s not interesting and her opinions, while overly blunt and delivered without ingenuity, can be heard for miles before being uttered.

She’s no longer relevant as she has no broad platform to spew her simplistic opinions. She’s relegated to chorus preaching.

Michael Smith goes off on ESPN after Jemele Hill leaves 'SportsCenter'

Michael Smith thinks he has been something other than a talk radio face

Amazed people are interested in watching either one of them. Watched them maybe twice. Changed channels or turned it off 10 minutes in. Absolutely garbage TV.
