I wonder how many of the writers of his various obits he's outlived. He's led such an extraordinary life, it might be three on the NYTs one alone.

 

Never once discussed his urges to screw his own daughter, with quite extensive elaboration on the circumstances in which it might happen, indicating he had devoted a considerable amount of time thinking about it

And better yet, returning to the topic again and again at different media appearances, sometimes bringing up the subject unprompted by the hosts. Indicating the entire topic area is a concept that returns to his mind with great frequency.

The first of two Southern Baptist presidents (Clinton) before later breaking with the denomination after it doubled down against women pastors. Interestingly, those two were the most hated presidents in the SBC churches I grew up in, before Obama reset the scale for their rage. For a long time Carter and the small band of breakaway Baptists were regarded as outliers within the church. Turns out they were the canaries in the coal mine.

I found most of the SBC churches hated Clinton more for his spouse than anything else and Obama for reasons that should be obvious.
