You don't make for interesting conversation sitting on a towel, on a white sandy beach, drinking a rum and coke, and watching the waves flow steadily in.

Drip has so many choices in this thread. He can choose gay or straight. He has dooley_womack1 offering to pet him, Songbird buying tickets to Nassau for a getaway. Life is full of choices. You have to wonder who or what Drip will embrace. I bet dooley is a heavy-handed petter.

Hell, you have to come with us. You can write one of your songs under a palm tree or something like that.

Why don't you drink something a little manlier, Drip?

    It's a given you'd go with us.

And Drip, don't be so sensitive. You'll get a sunburn.

My point is that you have a problem with gay people on some level or you'd have zero problem with Jodie Foster doing whatever it is Jodie Foster did on the actor's stage.

So, let's pick a weekend in Nassau when it's not 44 degrees.

And this guy was just looking for "the right girl" :)

Beyond all of the silly homophobic hand-wringing on this thread, the fact that you're all upset at the effect this had on a friggin' awards show is high comedy. I certainly wasn't watching said awards show (had to look it up to confirm it was the ultra important Golden Globes!!), which was fortunate for me as it would have most certainly ruined a good evening when the dynamics of the show were thrown askew.

You have just negated the moral high ground by commenting on a message board thread about an event that you feign disinterest.
event that you say it unimportant to you

Agred, if you add "educated and under 50"

I think there are a lot of older people who are pretty socially liberal who have pretty antiquated views on homosexuals.

I really don't have a problem. I just questioned the timing of her announcement. Like I said, I'm a HUGE Jodie Foster fan. Very few who can hold a scene with her and standout, in my opinion.
And I'm pretty free the first two weeks of February. We can shoot down there right before spring fling, er, spring training.
