Jon: It's really upsetting. I may be guilty of choosing the wrong time and place to hang out with my friends, but I am not guilty of cheating on my wife.

Kate: It's disturbing and unfortunate that these tabloids have gone as far as they have to try and bring us down. Jon's poor judgment and irresponsible behavior has also without a doubt caused some added tension and stress between the two of us.

Um, maybe I am missing something -- but how does this piece of information get this brother a "piece of their fortune"?

I'm not sure what the brother has to gain from this to be honest.

Doesn't that magazine pay for exclusives?

Boy, the noise is going to be loud and dramatic when that gravy train finally tips over.

The rumors and controversy continue to swirl. Who knows, for sure, what's true?

But here's some info on the teacher's brother doing all the talking. Boy, he sounds like a real winner.

  8. Can you imagine the torture Kate is putting this poor bastard through right now? Even if his worst sin is getting a ride home from the teacher and it's all innocent, he's fucking up the gravy train and Kate's not happy fo-sho. Oh man, he's gonna be giving Kate some Peg Bundy-style foot and butt massages for the rest of his life.

  9. Well he clearly is intelligent. Jon is "nearly twice her age." Which makes complete sense since she is 23 and he is 32.

But is he screwing up the gravy train? Their show is on hiatus right now, but they're getting all this publicity. I expect a ratings jump when the next season starts, thanks to all this.

  11. He's not fucking up the gravy train. Quite the opposite, the season 4 finale drew the show's highest ratings. It also aired shortly after the first hints of his having an affair and TLC played off that with the promos (which suggested trouble brewing in paradise). The season 5 ratings will keep growing. He is just drawing more attention to the show with all of this.

Lord knows Jon's already gotten a jump or two out of it.
