My wife used to be a massive fan, watched every episode, dragged me through several marathons, etc. She stopped watching the show but now just catches up on the news, because well, it's all freaking hilarious.
Last night we were talking about the bodyguard info that has come out, and I told her it had to be a ratings stunt.
Kate's got a book that came out recently, and now, with the "trouble" with her and John, she'll get a 7-figure book deal talking about the trials and tribulations of their marriage and how it fell apart.
It's much juicier than her simply being a bitch on the show.

I just saw a commercial tonight saying that "Kate confronts John for the first time" on the season opening. As if they would save discussing this matter for the first show of the season. This makes me dislike them as people even more.

I still have my doubts and think this bs is for ratings.

SNL had a great joke this week, something about how no one will confirm the split, but TLC has two new shows on its fall schedule: "Jon Plus Four" and "Kate Plus Four"

Thanks, I thought the "Vagina -- It's not a clown car" poster would be to obvious. Then again, it may have been just perfect.
