I recently saw one episode where Kate was enraged that her 3-year old son ate a gumball at his Aunts and got some on the kids clothes in the laundry. So in typical Kate fashion, she screams and throws away his favorite teddy bear (which had a bit of gum on it) while mocking the crying, devastated child.

    It was just disgusting.

This woman is so controlling, so hell bent on financial and superficial luxuries, so obsessed with having perfect children fed all organic food in spotless clothes. She puts her enormous family on cable television, yet scolds the paparazzi for covering them.
She ruined her marriage by breaking the will of her broken down husband. I pity those children.

Nice to see that Jon went out and got himself a hot new sports car.

i'm just waiting for TLC to greenlight the adventures of Ms. Gosselin's frequent book tours: Kate is Enough.

I've never seen the show. I don't get TLC.

They've been on the cover of US Weekly four straight weeks. Brangelina doesn't get that kind of coverage.

Kate spent every moment on camera trying to convince the audience that, in fact, she was the good one. She was the one who cared about the kids. She was the one fighting to put her marriage back together.
And this may have worked, 30 years ago. Heck, a decade ago. But it's her voice against the voice of hundreds (namely, every person who has ever met her) in the vacumn of media outside of the show, so she's up the creek and trying to use her Ann Taylor Loft jacket as a paddle.
I did want to scream at the television each time she said she had no idea of how to fix it. Really, lady? Because your husband said at the end of season four he wanted the show to be over. So if you take the TLC side (US Weekly is nasty and wrong about a lot, but they are having marital problems), ending the show (and dropping the fame that comes with it) will, in the long run, fix the problems. Now, it's the juicy gossip version of what is going on (Kate giving Jon a contract that allows for girlfriends, the security guard, etc. ...) then there is nothing that can help them and this is all just for show.

    You're exactly right, app.

Kate cares more about the free trips and stuff (given in exchange for airtime) than she does about Jon.

Exactly what I thought. When they were interviewed individually toward the end of the show, how many times did she say, "He ..." before catching herself? Ready to blame Jon for everthing. What a bitch. Cannot stand her.

BTW, what's up with her hair? It's like a backwards mullet.
