When I was a kid, my parents used to send my brother and I to our aunt and uncle's for a week every summer. It was fun. It was like summer camp. And it gave my parents a break.

Then, my aunt and uncle would send their two daughters to our house for a week later that summer, giving them a break.

It's not really a big deal.

To be fair, I hate our readers sometimes. So I can kind of see where she is coming from.

Yeah, I do too. But I damn sure wouldn't say it to our readers' faces.

My parents used to go away for a couple weeks at a time.

My brother and I always found them though.

Did anyone notice in the thread marked, "Melissa Joan Hart -- MILF?", that, if you opened the suggested attachment that went to the magazine cover that there was a pic of Kate with the headline, "Kate: Her Lonely New Life."

Why does anyone really care? Why should we be surprised? With 8 kids, how the hell can she "lonely."? Yes, that last question was a jab at the whole situation. This whole thing is just ridiculous.

Went to Safeway last night to pick up a few things -- including a vanilla frappacino from the Starbucks inside the Safeway...damn those things are good -- and noticed a tabloid in the checkout line with Kate front and center.

I stopped and looked at one of those stupid tabloids for the first time in I don't know how long.

    Ugh.

I miss Weekly World News. Only reason I'd volunteer to run to the store for my wife was so I could keep up with Bat Boy.

Kate's brother was on The Today Show talking about his sister. Then E! reported he's trying to sell an exclusive interview to the tabs for $30k.

Everybody (except the kids) in this is sickening.

  11. Hmm. The first two are something that stress and poor upbringing sometimes lead people into making poor choices that lead to that sort of situation.

Is that the case, you're saying, with the third question on your list?

The stupid thing is that it was obvious from day one this would happen.

Why do people think being on TV is a good thing? It rarely ends well.
