If entertainment magazines are correct, this will be Jon and Kate announcing a separation. Jon moves into an apartment already rigged with TV cameras, but they 'reconcile' by the end of the season and he moves back in because TLC wants the season to have a happy ending and Jon and Kate want to keep the money coming.

The show has jumped the shark.

It used to be about regular people dealing with eight kids. Now they've got Emeril coming by to cook. They've got the guys from American Chopper doing a crossover show (TLC synergy!) and building Jon a custom Harley.

I hope they announce the end of the show.

I'm crossing my fingers that they're going to announce that Kate has accepted a spot on The Real World: Cancun D.C.

You know there's a "Real Housewives of D.C." in production now, right?

Not only has it jumped the shark, but doesn't do it well. On J&K, American Choppers are donating the bikes. But when Jon appears on the American Choppers show, they say that Jon is buying.

Obviously there are several scenes that are shot repeatedly for storyline continuity. Also interesting to read the timeline when this episode was shot, within a week of the fake birthday party. So it's clear that the kids are working in violation of Pa. child labor laws ...

The announcement is that Jon and Kate are moving in with Octomom.

The new show will be called, Jon, Kate and Octomom plus 22.

US Weekly had someone from The Hills on their cover this week, which ended seven weeks straight of having the Gosselins out front.

I'm proud to say I've still never seen the show.

Lauren Conrad? She's been doing the talk show circuit. Good lookin. Maybe the annnouncement is Jon and Kate go to a marriage counselor and take some time off from the show.

No, Stephanie Pratt. Apparently, she had bulimia.

Another show I'm proud to say I've never seen.

I've never seen the Hills or its predecessors, but Lauren Conrad strikes me as a competent person with a future that she might be able to shape using her actual skills and abilities.
