Fertility drugs, and he's cute and lets her run his life. I can see why she married him.

I am reading this post watching a eight-month old trying to enjoy the Steelers by myself, and not with my buddies, while my wife is driving home from a scarpbooking weekend at the beach.

    I fail at manhood.

  3. See, I think Kate is misunderstood. Poor thing, she has an affliction. She just Can't Understand Normal Thinking.

Jesus the misery and resentment this woman is spreading is palpable.

  5. Wishful thinking...

  6. I see this and I snort. Thanks. This should be NSFW.

I wonder if Kate, as structured as she is, has an Excel spreadsheet to track their whoopie-making?

    Can't stand Kate.
Understand the misery Jon goes through.
No way I'd have eight kids.
The wife loves the show, though.

I've watched it a couple of times. Can take it or leave it, and definitely find Kate to be annoying.

My wife absolutely hates the show. The thing that pisses her off the most is how they can act like they're so normal - as normal as one can be with eight kids - yet they've gotten practically everything handed to them by either the show or the sponsors. She has since stopped watching it because of it.

Agreed. I know how much I spent on taking one kid to Disney. No way they paid for that trip themselves. I doubt many families with eight kids would try that trek. Now I hear they are in Hawaii? Eight kids, two adults on a a plane, plus hotel, food, and entertainment expenses? Has to reach five figures minimum for a pricetage.

Johnny boy's job can't be that good

  10. Especially when you consider what the hitman's gonna cost.

My wife complains about how they get all the free stuff too. She knows people who have serious problems (health and financial and such), who she feels deserve free trips and stuff, instead of a family that is special because they have eight kids.

She really went off when she saw the whole Hawaii thing for their "special wedding week" episodes. Must be nice to kite the whole family to Hawaii on TLC's dime. ::)
