Try arguing this point with a 14 year-old daughter if you think a wife is bad.

  2. To use a phrase that has jumped the shark, I do agree that JK+8 has jumped the shark.

I actually enjoyed it when it was about two people trying to handle the day-to-day insanity of raising 8 kids in diapers.

Now every other episode, if not more, is about their road trips in a life of privilege made possible by the show.
I don't begrudge them that. If the show has been popular and afforded them wealth, congratulations. What idiot would turn that money down?
I just don't find the show's content interesting anymore when it's all about their trips to zoos, Disneylands, Phillies games, etc., that include top-flight, back-stage, private-box, preferential treatment few are afforded.

And again, I know it's fun to rag on Kate for being a bitch, but whatever method she has found to raise 8 kids and keep from going insane, I'm not going to criticize.

    Americans learn nothing.

Selfishness and self-indulgence rule the day as the country overpopulates itself to death.

Just like the Wall Street and housing disaster we are going through. No one learns shit until after the disaster.

If Angela's husband happens to be named Dean, we've got "Angie and Dean Plus 14"

I've never watched Jon and Kate. After reading this thread for the first time, I realize it's a remake of "Malcolm in the Middle" with a couple more kids and minus the privileged lifestyle.

    Except it's reality.

  8. I hope they give me a couple days notice on the "Mady Finds Jon's Assault Weapon. Hilarity Ensues." episode.

I can't imagine how that guy makes it through each day without killing himself.

    Or killing Kate.

I'm sure eight kids changes her personality and treatment of Jon. But good gosh, I've never seen a man repeatedly emasculated on TV like that.

I've never seen the show, but ran across this listing. Is this their house?

  12. That is indeed. Quite odd that you found it.
