I agree he should be cut but we all know guys like this Incognito fuck and I know this - if Martin goes right at the ring leader and whups his ass the other "followers" aren't likely going to have the stomach to want to fuck with him.

That is how bullys operate - it is fun when they have a subject who isn't willing to stand up for himself but once that person becomes a handful to deal with the bullys go elsewhere.

But I'm just sad some black lineman didn't get to read these texts before this dude was suspended and then cut his ankle or knee and ended this fuckheads career.

 

The size of the player is irrelevant. I know very little about Martin other than that he played with Luck at Stanford. Incognito has had a reputation for being batshit insane since he entered the league.

 

As opposed to one being suspended and another hiding in his mother's house and the team being a laughing stock and a locker room divided between whites and blacks now?

 

Sadly, I think Incognito will have an easier time finding work next season than Martin.

 

I'm kind of with Zag on this. If he had knocked the shit out of him at the outset, this would've been a done deal. Apparently Incog knew, or had an inkling, Martin wouldn't fight back physically. However, I don't think he counted on this series of events.

 

That the dude is a racist and seeing as this is the era of the "let's make everything a hate crime and make sure we punishes meanies who use certain words" he would be given a medal.....

Martin might just be the kind of guy who comes around to thinking he doesn't want to put up with NFL shit anymore. Good for him if he does. This is one case where the team would most likely waive any right to recoup bonus money.

He is an NFL player in an NFL locker room, a place where it is survival of the fittest. He is a pussy if he lets people talk to him like that, ESPECIALLY at that size.

And the best thing he could do is "hurt someone", specifically Icognito, so that people know not to fuck with him -- and maybe it also sends a message that you shouldn't fuck with anyone because you might get your ass whipped.

 

I'm not so sure. What black players will want to play with that guy?

Also, does Martin have options to sue here? Employer failed to provide safe working environment, etc.? Obviously the NFL isn't "safe," but you know what I mean.

 

Excellent point - the fact that he hasn't had his career ended yet tells me the whole league may be full of pussies.
