Based on the Dolphins' reaction, they knew and they didn't care.

It makes me wonder... Philbin is one of the nicest of the NFL head coaches... It's hard to imagine him putting up with this if it was just about bullying.

Ireland is a colossal douchebag. I could see him knowing about this and looking the other way.

I've said this before on this site, but the Dolphins have quietly been one of the NFL's worst franchises (across the board, not just W-L) for the last decade. They're not as bad as the Raiders, but they may be a distant second. Seven head coaches in the last decade.... That's counting Bates, but still...

Maybe he can get the New York Times editorial page to say he "mis-spoke." I hear they're pretty gullible in that regard. ;D

You can like McKeown's take all you want, but reporting what personnel guys are saying is not bullshit on Trotter's part. He's a reporter, for crying out loud. Is he supposed to act like they didn't say it? Do you think he's making it up?

Incognito was against gay marriage before he was for it.

Doesn't all this dinner tab stuff remind you of the Sopranos episode when Chris gets pissed at Paulie for always making him pay for things?

Sounds like he was an asshole to a hell of a lot more than one person.

These folks (and the folks here) who are blaming the victim are full of shit. I'm supposed to believe that folks too cowardly to attach their name to their criticism would have the guts to stand up to a 6'5" monster? Sure.

And, what other victims should be required to solve their own problems? Should a woman, facing sexual harassment at work, just deal with it one-on-on with the harasser? Is that what you would recommend to your wife?

What if this shithead had been bulling a sportswriter? What if he continually walked into a sportswriter on purpose, called him names, and threatened him? The sportswriter should have just brought a bat to the locker room, right?

This is the dumbest post on this thread, and it's up there among your dumbest.

There would be no "fight". You wouldn't get a punch in, and how you came out of it would depend solely on how badly he wanted to hurt you. You'd be lucky to avoid reconstructive surgery.
