Really no surprise specially for kids raised in affluent everybody gets a trophy communities.

Kids are not taught to fend for themselves. Have a problem go to Mommy to fight
your battle. If that does not work family has attorney on retainer.

Parcells took the money and ran.
He fixed the team for a one-and-done playoff season.
Waddled away from every job he's had in the league, usually under a cloud of controversy.

    Interesting take from DLB... http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/10462076/why-miami-siding-richie-incognito-not-jonathan-martin-victim

MMQB is pretty interesting today. I agree with King's assessment that the report was too easy on Philbin and that Turner should be fired immediately.

It struck me that the report spent many pages summarizing a pattern of bullying and culminated in one paragraph that basically said, "Gosh, that really should stop."

Exactly as a said earlier, the kid did a solid job on his term paper till he phoned in the
    conclusion. It was weak.

As King points out in today's column, even by today's NFL locker room standards, this is not the norm, not anywhere close to this level...

Incognito should be suspended for next season. Pouncey and the other guy should get lengthy suspensions as well. That's really the best thing Goodell can do to make sure this doesn't happen again.

Nah, that's the old way. Nowadays, it's grab your gun and fire.

Drawing a line in the sand and standing up for yourself. Does
not have to be "knuckle city" as you put it.

Really interesting to think of the contrasts between two college
teammates in Martin and Richard Sherman and how their upbringings
    likely affected their demeanor.

Does not mean he should have been treated the way he was but clearly
Martin was mentally weak with a constitution not suited for a high level
    of football.

The Patriots live a charmed life. They start the bus and win that division, it seems, every year.
