Not sure which John Thomas is larger, the one for the days of yore when the coterie was coterie'ing it up here, or the one denouncing, how you say, trolls.

    Nobody is winning shit here.

But if you'd like, I can write a letter full love, treacle and desire on your behalf.

Dear Jones and Wright and KVV and MacGregor and Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky and Mike,

Please PLEASE come back to SportsJournalists.com, because we miss your seeds of wisdom that fill our brains, and mouths.

For without your presence The Trolls of SJ™ win the game, which means we lose the game, and when we lose the trolls win -- and who wants to celebrate another moral victory, anyway?

Please PLEASE come back. Please. Seriously, please.

If we have to read NDJ's baseball magic number posts one more day, well, gosh, we don't know WHAT we'll do!

Plus, we've designated 93 as your official Rub'n'Tug Specialist!

    Thanks for listening, guys.

    Sincerely,
    The Sub-Coteried

Well, it's not much, but it'll have to do.

  3. It will be a great day when the dim among us realize the deities do not want to limit themselves to an audience of several dozen.

"The Dim and the Deities" ... great title for a book, song or movie.

    Probably a distant day, though.

    You're the best.

I know you just want to try and shove it up my ass because I dared to criticize a reporter, but you're off base here (as usual).

If the best a New York Times real estate reporter can do to describe the Equitable Building is to call it nondescript, then she's not trying very hard.

There are lots of good ways to describe the Equitable Building. She could have just called it by name.

But, she wasn't trying hard. She was trying to set the scene for a little known agency, that is behind the times, and buried in paper. Calling the building itself nondescript was a lazy move, that played to the narrative.

    No kidding.

If you want to know their thinking, follow them on twitter. If you're dying to interact with them, tweet to them.

They get a bigger audience there, and have access to more acolytes.

The difference is, the audience here understands what they are going through.

From the lowliest copy editor to the beat reporter, the designer to the takeout writer and all points in between, we get exactly what the "deities" are saying, always.

That's not something they can get elsewhere.

Dude, face the facts. They made you feel smaller. Own your shame.

LOL. Yeah, HockeyBeat responded to every Fenian_Bastard post ever because he "got" what Fenian was going through.

    LOL. Who did.

I like Fenian, Jones, MagGregor, and DoubleDown.

They're all smart, and I like hearing their take on issues.

And, I get it every day on twitter.
