    He's a joke.
It's more than a little unseemly to be giving these statements in between trips to the fairway.

When hit with hard challenges, a successful leader will stay the course. Obama read a book on leadership and thought it said "stay on the course."

I've always said that no president, regardless of party, is ever on vacation. I still believe that, but this is fucking ridiculous.

For somebody who claims to be the smartest guy in the room, he's got some stupid people advising him if they aren't telling him what a fucking fool he looks like right now.

As of now, the score is 879-150.

Reading comprehension is fun. Someday you'll be able to understand what the fuck other people type. Presidents are never on vacation. My point is that Obama, as usual, is fucking clueless about what he's doing.

It's also funny as hell to watch the Liberal Trash strenuously avoid criticizing Obama for the same thing they crucified the previous occupant of the White House for.

You actually might be on to something there. I'm always reminded of Sam Kinison's "Sorry guys, the dick stays here" riff whenever I see her on TV with her ladyboy.

Right or wrong? Whose religion, right now, is cutting off heads and raping and killing? Whose religion is killing children? There has never been a more clear-cut case of right or wrong. And I don't know of any western government that wants to convert Muslims. I think they'd all settle for them to stop killing people who won't convert to theirs.

so what? What happened in the past doesn't give anyone a pass to do it now. Do we just let it continue because murderous assholes killed in the sixth century?
    What a fucking idiotic stance.

This is from today's story in the New York Post, which I'm not linking because it has a photo of Foley on his knees, with a knife to his throat.

The jihadists who savagely took the life of an American journalist sent his employer an e-mail a week earlier threatening the execution.

    From Foley's editor:

“We received an email from the captors on Wednesday night of last week stating their intention to execute Jim,” Philip Balboni, the founder of the online news service site Global Post, told WCVB Boston. “The email was full of rage.”

I know it's not good form to publicize "privately" sent emails, but I would really like see/know the full contents of that message.

Even taking into account any U.S. strikes against Syria, I'm willing to bet all that "rage" is purely manufactured, the better to advance/enfore the ISIS's look-at-me (only) point of view.

And, just for the record, I agree with YF regarding the ban on linking/posting photos of Foley's execution, particularly here, on a journalists' site. We're all adults here, and if people don't want to watch it or see the link, there's nobody making them open it.
