I would say 99.99 percent of Dylan Roof types have stunning inferiority complexes. It's at the root of why they make such easy prey.

 

If we're gonna grade, yes, the impersonal nature of Roof's killing makes his crime worse, but they were both racist killers.

 

Worse? It's tough, but I don't think the TV shooting could be called "racist." It was more out of his paranoia about racism. The real argument is that Obama blamed guns in the Roanoke case but racism in the Charleston case when it is Roof that is the one who shouldn't legally have been able to buy a gun.

 

Bullshit. Flanagan was as much a racist as Roof.

He did seem racist. But how does that make what Roof did any less awful?
