Yeah, that really hit me. Stuck in a room with a woman you love but won't reciprocate, with an unborn child that will probably go through life not knowing a whole hell of a lot of his father, and coming to the realization that your own father's hatred is so strong that even through the veil of senility, he tried to off you. ... That's some powerful shit there. Well written.

  2. And well acted. Raylan's offhand remark and Winnona's double-take when she realized what was meant by what he said. Perfect.

The only thing better was Raylan playing keep-away with Quarles arm. That was AWESOME.

I loved the scene with Raylan and Wynn in the motor coach. Actually, I just love the Wynn character in general. He made his way in the criminal world making people think he's a little nuts and capable of anything, but now he's Eastern Kentucky and finds himself surrounded by people who actually are crazy enough to do anything, including law enforcement.

The Arlo story could be a really good one next season. The love-hate, father-son-brother dynamic between he, Raylan and Boyd is so interesting and so many thoughts and feelings they've all buried deep down are going to surface as Arlo deals with aging and dementia.

We also need to find out if Dewey Crowe got his other two kidneys back.

    Shit, it's a piggy bank.
I loved this season and was hoping they would keep Quarles around because he's so creepy, yet great at the same time. I knew it wouldn't happen, but just a wish.
I disagree with Orville, though, I though this season was much better the season 1. Behind the second a bit, but the show is getting better and better. I wish that bartender made an appearance in the finale, though.

  7. One of the things I love about Justified is the crossover actors from Deadwood and Band of Brothers - two of my all-time favorite shows. By my count there have been 10 Deadwood veterans (including Tim Olyphant) and 5 Band of Brothers veterans on the show.

I didn't think this finale was as good as last season's, with Maggs, the glass and Dickie Bennett stringing Raylan up like a pinata, but it was still pretty damn good.
    Someone give Quarles a hand!

  9. Disappointed last episode not On Demand yet. Anywhere online to watch it?

  10. Speaking of Mags.. went home for Easter and had some Apple Pie. Holy shit was it good!

It's up On Demand now (there's an 8 day lag). Just watched it. I love this show. Hate thinking that it will be 9 months or so before the next season starts. B
