Finally saw the finale. Agreed it wasn't as good as last season, but you're not going to top Mags Bennett and her clan.
Figure Limehouse is a major figure next season with more Dicky, maybe some Dewey and a lot of Raylan, Arlo and Boyd sorting out their daddy issues.
Also wouldn't mind seeing more of the Detroit mob, perhaps Winn Duffy become the local rep.

Saw an interview with Graham Yost where he said Dickey probably won't be on the show - or if so, very minimially - as his story has run its course (he was shot, the last Bennett, we know where the money is hidden). Also, he'd like to bring back Limehouse, but depends on the availability of Mykelti Williamson. Perhaps for a few episodes.

Yeah, to me, there isn't much left to do with Dickey Bennett, except maybe Boyd or Ava actually go for revenge against him. There's too much other fruit though with the existing storylines, nevermind the neat "story of the week" episodes they still do from time to time. (The Dewey episode with the kidneys was the sort of dark humor I love on the show, plus, I'm all for Maggie Lawson getting more paychecks, although she obviously won't be in S4 of Justified.)

I figure they use Dickey to introduce some other dirtbags. They might be able to bring back Mickey Jones' character, but that actor actually is suffering from kidney failure. Harlan is running out of criminals.

  5. Interesting recap of all the people killed in Season 3. Very few were killed by Raylan Givens (though I think author missed one kill that should have gone to Raylan that he gave to someone else instead).

I let out an audible "holy shit" when I read Gary was Herman from Herman's Head, which led to having to explain to my wife what Herman's Head was.

Because it the season starts in about 50 minutes EST.

I hope I eat my words, but I don't have high expectations for this season.

Sepinwall's review makes it sound interesting at least, more of a mystery this season than a showcase of colorful criminals. I'll be pouring myself a good Kentucky bourbon to drink while I watch it.

Can't wait! Have to wait until I get home at around midnight, but I'll grab a few beers for the viewing.

A perfect mix of hijinks and action. Arlo is a ruthless SOB.

Good start. My only issue is every time Arlo talks to Raylan I hear Raymond J. Barry's character from Walk Hard saying "the wrong kid died." I guess in this case the wrong cop died.
