chris sheridan was saying karl was running it up on isiah and the knicks because of how they treated larry brown.
sound ludicrious, but with karl, i wouldn't be surprised.

That's the accepted theory in NY... Karl and Brown are buddies, Karl -- who criticized Isiah after Brown was canned -- wanted to run it up because of the way Brown got treated in NY.
Probably true, but still not a reason for Nate Robinson and Melo to act like thug assholes.

This is great. The players will be called thugs and penalized, while the instigators of the brawl, the freaking COACHES, will get nothing.

I think Karl was just sending him a message saying "Buddy, you're terrible. Ya gots'ta go"

Funny, I've never heard Bob Knight say in a presser, "Well, it's unfortunate that the brawl with Purdue happened, but hell, what was Keady doing keeping his starters in up 20 with two minutes left in the game. The game was over at that point, yet they still had Greg Robinson in the game at center."

Maybe Isiah (proper spelling) would have benefitted from a year or two more at IU. Say what you like about Knight, his teams dont get into brawls. He does, but his teams don't.

And who gave Thomas the naked pictures of Stern with a donkey so that he can keep getting work?

I can't tell you how happy I am to see that someone else noticed that. I can't stop giggling at it.

So NBA vs. NHL is the big argument here.

Name the sport that has the gall to play music during a play. Not during the break, but while the play is actually occurring.

    There's your answer.

Please, tell me which one of the posters claimed the NHL is "so much more evolved."

    I'll hang up and listen.

Feel free to go back to Page 1 and find it yourself.

As amusing as it would be to continue beating you down, I think I'd rather watch football.

That's where you and I differ. I think he does give the 'star' 20 games, if only to teach him a lesson. He sat Ewing for just leaving the bench against the Heat, remember?
