Kornheiser suspended from PTI

ESPN pays Kornheiser to have an opinion, and that's why people watch the show.

Until they don't pay him because he had an opinion they didn't like.

    Wonderful logic.

I wish the girls at Buffalo Sem or Nardin Academy would have worn the Hanna Storm version of the Catholic schoolgirls outfit instead of the sister Bertrille version.

Maybe, hell, no maybe about it, I'm old-fashioned, but my theory is, you ride for the brand, and ripping a fellow employee in a public forum is about as bush league as it gets. Plaid is never a good idea for TV, except maybe in Scotland, but Tony is in the wrong here. Should he have been suspended. I wouldn't. A public apology to Storm might have been demanded were I in charge, however.

He said on Monday's radio he called her and apologized, then apologized on air.

I like Tony and have long watched the wonderful Hannah.

He shouldn't have said it. She shouldn't have worn it. And ESPN can go bang itself.

ESPN doesn't allow its talent to rip each other, thus the suspension.

Hannah does look hot in that getup and I don't care how old she is.

Hannah Storm attire has been hot button issue for some time:

I did not know Tony publicly apologized. If I were his ESPN boss, that would have satisfied me.

She deserved to be attacked for that!

That's what I was talking about.

Suspension is just a big-boy timeout, which doesn't pinch when you're so not living paycheck-to-paycheck at TK's (and other top talents') level. Waste of everyone's time. Double-barreled apologies, to her and over the airwaves, would have done the trick.

    It's a two-week suspension, according to SportsCenter.

What would Epic Beard Man have to say about this situation?
