L.A. sucks, but there is a happy ending ...

Like most cities, L.A. is how much money you have to be able to make the best of it.

 

When I lived in San Berdoo, I didn't go into L.A. very often. I had Gluck drive us to the Lakers game.

 

The essence of LA (according to a hater) "spending money you don't have to impress people you don't like."

Or (from the Less than Zero time period) "the only place in the world where the mothers look better than the daughters." (Okay that's a Nor Cal guy saying these things, but there's a kernel of truth in them)

 

On the Bill Simmons podcast this morning, a guest was talking about Taylor Swift in the Chiefs luxury box, and said that she ate "chicken tendies".

Jesus fucking Christ.
