Lady Techsters not interested in WNIT

I am amused that there is not one, but two threads on the WNIT. Continue.

(Oh and Montana got hosed. Ranked in the Top 30, not only does it not get an NCAA bid, but it has to TRAVEL in the WNIT. Fuck the selection committees!!!!!!!!!!!)

 

We're willing to trade looks for a certain morally casual attitude.

I'm not sure Louisiana Tech is whining. Did I miss something?

Having covered that program at the end of the Leon Barmore era, I can understand a Lady Techsters coach saying no thanks. The fan base there was spoiled for two decades, and they have high expectations. They can respect a coach who says "our standards are higher." I think he knows they want to hear that -- and see him do something about it.

If he was whining about not getting invited and I missed it, then shame on me. That's not how I read his comments, though.

 

But the South Dakota State Fighting Lady Jackrabbits are in the field, and will host a second-round game.
