It's nice the university set up someplace for its law school alums to work after graduation.

    Not. Even. Close.

I can't speak for the other 118 Div. I-A coaches, but Tennessee has basically two coaches who recruit worth a shit. Trooper Taylor . . . and Phil Fulmer.

    That's a VERY interesting one.

Heard today that the Miami faithful are clamoring for the return of Butch Davis.
But I didn't wade through the other pages of this thread to see if his name had been mentioned.
So this might be a D_B.

I wonder if the school lets them keep their student parking stickers too?

Oh, and Alvarez isn't going back into coaching. He had been wanting to move into the AD's chair for several years.

Sure, he wanted the Devaney-like crowning as "King of Campus" that the AD job gives him. But the man also loves to coach. He almost took the job when Coker got it and I'm sure that leaving his players factored heavily into his decision. That won't be a problem this time.

If Alvarez is going to return to coaching, it would likely be for 3 jobs: Nebraska, Notre Dame or Miami.

Coker will knock off the next few cupcakes, maybe even knock off VT, and then get drilled in a bowl game by a real team.

How bad do the Canes look now after FSU barely beat Troy, and then lost at home to Clemson?

yeah, that's funny, said the third-year law student who is eight months away from graduation and a return to the real world at age 34 and about $250,000 poorer (including three years of lost income) than when he started law school.

Don't worry leo, you'll recoup those losses soon enough.
