My favorite is Sam's White Ale, great beer.

A buddy (not a close friend, he's one of the guys I skate with) is a brewer at Sam Adams, if you've seen their recent ad campaign when the brew masters speak, you've seen him. Bobby Cannon, he's the one with the long beard...great guy, with a job he loves!

Cherry Wheat? Unless they really changed the way they make it in the last 12 years, the last time I had it I thought my cough syrup had fermented.

    Mmmm ... Cherry Wheat!

I think you can buy it 12 months out of the year, but it's damned hard to find. I make a mental bookmark every time I see it in a store.

Pete's Wicked Summer Ale is much better.

Ditto bigpern. Asked for summer ale, tonight, at my primary stop, and was told Oktob was now in the pipeline.

Cherry Wheat is outstanding. Was in Boston recently and enjoyed it as much as possible; it's impossible to find in my locale. What's even more unfortunate is I wasn't able to bring a case back with me on the plane, as I usually do, because of the new security rules.

Miller Lite in cans. Or Old Style in cans. Or Keystone Light in cans.

SA's Summer Ale isn't nearly as good as New Belgium's Skinny Dip summer beer.

well that's a weird little ditty but i live hefeweizen, too. i'd drink wheat beers year round if i could find them.

  10. Sam's is a mighty fine beer. I can't do the berry flavors, though. Anything other than that, pour.

Leinenkugel and Summit are solid also. Tried the Leinie Wheat on tap and it was awful, and I posted that here on another thread. I gave it another try from a bottle and it was good, so I stand corrected. Blue Moon is worth checking out also.
