Anna Kendrick and Brittney Snow, the shower scene, it's a great little movie.

Couldn't remake that if they tried. There was a time and place in America that's impossible to re-create. Obviously. There's not a single weak moment in the movie. It may be Camp but it's Camp of the highest order.

Walter Hill is a vastly underrated director.

He had a great run with The Warriors, 48 Hours, Southern Comfort and Crossroads (the Ralph Macchio movie, not the Britney Spears one).

Of course, he also had some turds ... Streets of Fire, Another 48 Hours ...

And, of course, the music. Puts a serious cock in your walk.

  8. You know they are working on a sequel?

  9. Homefront.

    Jason Statham.
I love Jason Statham movies. This one was good. It could have used more kick-ass, though.

Elizabeth Banks is directing, she was a producer of the first and was one of the commentators in the movie.

Another enormous guilty pleasure is Burlesque, Cher, Christina Aguilera, Stanley Tucci, Kristen Bell with minor almost cameos by Alan Cummings (what a talented performer) and Diana Agron. Cheesy movie, but good cheesy and Aguilera is actually quite good. Awesome body she had for this movie.

It really is. It was kind of a guilty pleasure for me, but I find myself on youtube for repeat fixes.

Kendrick and Brittany Snow are talented and very attractive, and Alexis Knapp as Stacie just oozes sex appeal, she's a solid six... on the Budweiser scale.

You know the Budweiser scale? That means that it would take six Clydesdales to pull me off of her... ;D

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes - A CGI orgy of too much everything except an engaging story. I wanted to like it, but the level of dumb (especially early in the film) was too much to take. The glowing reviews are baffling.
