  5. Edge of tomorrow earlier this week. Fun times. Smart and worthy of the reviews.
Couple of things though, and I'll try to avoid spoilers.
Wasn't sure what to make of the ending. Anybody with thoughts on it please feel free to share in as vague a way as possible.
Second. Emily Blunt. That is all.

Yeah, it kinda comes apart in the last reel. That Hollywood need for a happy ending. I liked the ending in "All You Need is Kill" better.

It was still a lot of fun. Seeing Tom Cruise be willing not to take himself too seriously was interesting too.

Emily Blunt. My, my, my... Yeah.

The Red Dawn remake. I liked it because it was less campy, per se, than the original. But the North Koreans invading is potentially a bit of a stretch.
Also saw Godzilla. A touch sluggish, and "the company was behind the creation of the monsters" angle was meh. The monster fights were what they were: enjoyable.

Oh my God, the Mark Wahlberg-Tim Burton movie needs to be burned and never spoken of again. It was so terribly awful.
These James Franco reboots have been fantastic.

Saw Chef tonight with Mrs. OOP. Jon Favreau wrote, directed and starred in this one. Read that he wanted to do it as a break from the big budget stuff he had directed in recent years. Pulled a bit of a Woody Allen in that respect, giving his character a little playtime with Scarlett Johanssen.

Cute little movie with a great cast, some in very small roles. A bit slow early on, but funny and sweet.

Saw Boyhood last night. It was... pleasant?... and it certainly didn't drag, which in itself was an accomplisment for filim running over 2 1/2 hours. But while it's one of those movies that justifiably gets lauded for being different, I don't know.... It seemed to have sacrificed a lot of the complexity that "real life" has in order to be a film about real life?
