Taking Chance is such an emotional trip. A well-done movie about one aspect of war many do not think about.

I agree. Have never done it.

I've walked out of several movies. I like to think my time is worth something, too.

    Which was the last?
I wanted to walk out of 300, but wifey was enjoying it too much.

My future wife and I walked out of "Wild Wild West" after a half-hour or so because it sucked.
If I ever meet anyone greatly involved with that project I intend to demand my money back.

So, were you just being thoughtless or did you just call my wife a moron? I'm betting on thoughtless given how little brain power you seemed to devote to that post.

Of course, you also called cranberry a moron. Fart boy qualifies, too. He wanted to walk, but his wife wouldn't let him.

Cranberry is right. Sometimes, you just have to stop compounding the error of wasted money by wasting more of your time on a terrible movie. The money is already gone. The time is not. Seems to me, the far more foolish decision is to keep putting yourself through crap just because you paid for said crap.

I've never done it, though m family did pass on using a rain check to see Jack Black's horrible version of Gulliver's Travel. About an hour into the movie, the entire building was evacuated due to a fire alarm. To our great relief, little OOP said she was happy the evacuation happened because she didn't want to see any more of the movie, anyway.

A smart person would have surmised that Jack Black starring in a fkn Gulliver's Travels movie would have sucked.

Do you have kids, fart boy? If not, this is one instance in which your ignorance is somewhat understandable.

We knew it would suck for adults, but sometimes enduring crap like that is part of life as a parent. Thankfully, little OOP makes better choices now. (Though to her credit, she knew that one was crap once she saw half of it.)

You've shown the taste and sensibilities of a child.
Fart wouldn't be surprised if a Jack Black Gulliver's Travels vehicle were your idea.

Thus, fart boy continues to troll the 500-page thread.

Two people hated the Lego Movie that you loved so much. Get over it, already.

Watch the Lego Movie and then we'll argue about it.

I think Superbad was the last one I ditched.
