    Never walked out, although, holy shit, Van Helsing took me right to the edge.

    No thanks. I'd only bother for little OOP's sake and she hated it, so I doubt she'll want to watch it, even for free on cable.

    Not unlike 'Contact,' in some ways a kind of prequel (also including one of McConaughey's best-regarded early roles).

    Last movie I walked out on was "Ned Kelly" back in the '70s. The hilarity of seeing Mick Jagger cast as a rugged hero-bandit of the 19th century Australian outback wore thin after 20 minutes.

    No one here cares what she hates or likes. Please get this by now.

    Can't exactly recall the last one but I've walked out of maybe four or five. I walked out of Waterworld within the first 15 minutes.

    One of them was Sophie's Choice, too, but that was because the show ran longer than I expected (I didn't accurately factor in the previews) and I was meeting a group for Christmas Eve drinks.

    I don't walk out of movies. I have been known to fall asleep, though.

    I don't usually agree with Alma when it comes to movies, but we are sympatico on two items;

    1. I have never walked out of a movie, but 'Van Helsing' was the closest I've come. That was one of the most agreesively dumb movies I have ever seen.

    B. I liked 'Interstellar' until it unravelled in the third act.

    I saw Super Mensch, which is a documentary about Shep Gordon who managed Alice Cooper, among others.

    The Roger Ebert doc is the best one I've seen this year. This would be second.

    Really interesting film, which Mike Myers directed.

    Oh, Waterworld was good goofy fun.

    Waterworld was nowhere near as bad a movie as its reputation. The Postman on the other hand ...

    That was a poor summer for movies, as I recollect.
    It became popular to rip the shit out of Waterworld.
    I have seen and paid for much worse.
