The average high school student couldn't locate the Baltic states on a map 30-40 years ago either.

    That sounds crazy.
    Have you actually watched it?

No, a friend passed that on to me. I'm all for milking.

A Lonely Cow Weeps at Dawn. The photo on YouTube showing the old man milking the naked daughter-in-law over a bucket in the barn is quite humorous.

    I found it no problem.
I'm just a little taken aback by it.

I have seen strange and disturbing movies - 'Audition' and 'Martyrs' leap to mind.

The description of this movie is stranger, but I have to guess that it would be less emotionally damaging to the viewer than 'Audition' or 'Martyrs,' both of which made me hate humankind for creating a civilization in which those movies exist and hate myself for watching them.

Project Almanac knows it’s not breaking new ground with nods to other time travel movies. From MTV Films with a first-time director, it’s easy to be skeptical. But “Project Almanac” can now add itself to the genre as an entertaining film that doesn’t fall into a trap of clichés.

I told you earlier how bad Blackhat is, but never posted the actual review.

I've recently seen screenings of Jupiter Ascending and The DUFF.

Jupiter Ascending gets points for originality and action, but it is an inconsistent, predictable sci-fi film with little to no suspense.

The DUFF borrows from teen movies like Mean Girls, Can't Buy Me Love and She's All That, but makes it work in a surprisingly enjoyable film.

American Sniper. Skillful moviemaking by ol' Clint. Not political at all, to my eye.

    Oculus (2014).
Fart has a weakness for horror/fantasy "mirror" stories and psychology.
It was Carroll's Through the Looking Glass, and What Alice Found There that started that loop for me. For many, I would guess.

As a former Sonics, current Thunder fan who's never been within a thousand miles of Seattle, watching Sonicsgate recently was a treat. And it makes me question who i'll root for if Seattle ever gets a new Sonics.

Saw Birdman again the other night with a friend. Pretty good but it has to be the least magical of any tale of magic realism I've seen or read for while.
