Last movie you watched......

The Strangers ... the only good thing about it was Liv Tyler. Other than that, totally forgettable.

 

Really? The story ended up being pretty lame (and could not be less similar to the true story it's supposedly based on), but that movie freaked me the fuck out. I'm a horror movie guy, but I don't remember the last time a movie made me physically feel scared like that.

 

Well, it's no Halloween. And I thought it was supposed to be based on a true story but stayed on the channel long enough to look for the disclaimer at the end and didn't see one.

I even watched the damn thing in the dark and it still was a disappointment.

 

Encounters at the End of the Earth

Documentary on life on Antarctica and some of the people who work in the research stations and some of the work that's being done there. I'm kind of an Antarctica buff, so I found the whole thing freaking fascinating.

 

What do people do for fun while living in Antarctica?

 

They apparently have several bars at the main research site. And there are talent shows.

 

Bride Wars.
Going into it, I had no expectations for it whatsoever. Really, really funny. Kate Hudson is gold.

LOL, it's definitely a chick flick, and if you're a chick who recently got married, it's even funnier.
