Last movie you watched......

Despite knowing it wasn't a hit with the critics, I saw Southpaw. What a waste of acting talent.

 

As someone said on the Twitterz, someone, some day will make a movie about a boxer who has life in order, a loving family and is not scarred by tragedy.

And that movie is not Southpaw.

 

Has anyone seen Mr. Holmes?

 

Apocalypse Now is fine if you always sleep through Brando's rambling, like I do.

 

The only thing missing from Apocalypse Now is Coppola's daughter. If she'd appeared in a napalm scene, maybe we would have been spared of her being cast in GF3.

 

I finally saw it last weekend, and agree about Indominus Rex. And of course, there was a blatant set-up for a sequel.

That being said, it was a fun, summer action movie that was good to see on the big screen. And Bryce Dallas-Howard wears the most "supportive" tank top ever made!

 

Finally got around to watching Guardians of the Galaxy yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised; a lot more fun than I was expecting. Plus, I loved the soundtrack.

 

Trainwreck. Very funny.

 

Transcendence

On HBO. Nolan's former DP makes a Nolan film in which Depp becomes SkyNet.

I'm on the fence about it. Interesting discussion topic, but I think the movie got a little too out there.

 

I watched The Hot Spot for the first time today. I already knew Virginia Madsen had big boobs but not Jennifer Connelly. Wow!

 

Don't you just love it when a girl who doesn't seem to be particularly busty with her clothes on turns out to have a lot more up top than you imagined? Such a nice surprise.

I went to college with a girl who used to brag about that. She said guys were always pleasantly surprised when they saw her naked. And that's all I'm going to say about that.

 

Find and watch "Career Opportunities." Not exposed, but well displayed in tight T-shirts. Plus, great closeups of her dynamic face.
I've thought in the past that some of these stars have looked their absolute best just being themselves in their dumb, corny movies, i.e.: Elisabeth Shue in the babysitter movie, Kim Basinger in My Stepmother was an Alien, Olivia Wilde in The Change-Up. There are more.
