Mostly what I've heard is that they did not let a plot get in the way of the beefcake.

Surfing about on the Netflix tonight and came across The Cobbler. I read the synopsis, which caught my interest, but didn't read the cast. Turns out Adam Sandler was the lead. I am not an Adam Sandler fan by any means, but I really enjoyed this movie. Sandler plays a shoe repair guy, and if he puts on the shoes of a customer, he turns into that person. Dustin Hoffman -- one of my favorite actors -- is also in it.

Joe Bob says check it out.

Really, really enjoyable spy-action movie. Two hours of popcorn fun and British accents.

Watched Foxcatcher last night. Oh man, tremendous performances all the way around. Steve Carell was scary good, quite literally.

I liked 'Foxcatcher,' and I thought Carrell was quite good.
But I found the makeup distracting.

I was surprised by Tatum. He was good.

Just got in from seeing Ant-Man. It's not the first Iron Man, which is the comparison I've seen, but it's a fun movie. It fits in with the MCU without being bogged down by it. The way they play with scale is very cool.

Ex Machina. I liked it. It is worth seeing. It's not bizarre or weird. But it is talky. Not action oriented. It's a thought provoking movie while still entertaining

Trainwreck is an R-rated romantic comedy done right. Hilarious and sentimental. Loved it.

    'The Gift'
I could take it or leave it. I would've rather waited for DirecTV airing, but someone wanted to go to the movies.
