Thanks for the reminder. Saw this trailer awhile ago and wanted to see it. I'm gonna check it out tonight I think.

    Sleepaway Camp.

Um ... yeah, I got nothing. Didn't really see that ending coming ...

I finally saw 'The Wrestler' and 'Taken' tonight. Loved them both.

I was depressed with the ending of 'The Wrestler,' but considering the plot, it seems appropriate.

Miss Pettigrew lives for a day -- Soooo very cute! I'm quickly becoming a massive Amy Adams fan.

The $5 bin at Walmart is clutch, although I would never pay for any film with Cameron Diaz in it.

A few weeks ago, I watched "A Hard Day's Night" for the first time in years. Needless to say, a classic, classic film with great music.

Here's the kicker: I'm proofing a wire story tonight about old rockers hitting the road for summer tours, and here's this bit about Paul McCartney:

"McCartney (67 in June) now is about 15 years older than the man who played his grandfather in 'A Hard Day's Night.'"

I'm "young" enough to only have witnessed Beatlemania after the fact, but still ... Yikes!

    Taken.

Very good. Pleasantly surprised. High body count. Not as high as I imagine hearing reviews from friends and co-workers, but he shot every bad guy 3 times so maybe that's why.

I don't think this movie would have been near as good with an "action" star like Bruce Willis, et al.

    Paranoid Park.

Movie about some kid who was involved in killing a security guard at a skate park, and the lengths he'll go to to keep it secret. Well shot. Well acted. Good music. Thumbs up from me.

"The Corner" - a six-hour mini-series that David Simon did before The Wire. A really nice "fix" for those who have seen The Wire. A lot of the same actors dealing with life in the Baltimore streets.

I'm so glad you liked it! Did you love Lee Pace? I so do.
