Rented "Yes Man" for $1 through the grocery store's Redbox vending machine the other night. Didn't expect much, but damn I liked it. Not the way-over-the-top Carey movie, though there are a few points when he gets a little out of control. I'm now a huge Zooey Deschanel fan.

    Altman's The Company.

Helps if you like ballet, and/or Altman.

But one thing it's absolutely not . . . is boring.

Went to see Angels & Demons with the lady today. I should begin by saying that I read and LOVED the book.

That being said, the movie was OK at best. I don't like a lot of the changes they made from the book (the first 25 minutes were a basic rush through to get to the action) and I felt they cut out a lot of the stuff I was looking forward to seeing the most but all in all it's a good watch if you're interested in that kind of thing.

Be warned though that basically every character in the flick mails it in for about the first hour and a half. Everyone seems to be going through the motions for most of the flick, especially Hanks. On a positive note, the end is really, really cool and I'm glad they didn't deviate from the book too much in that regard but it wasn't enough to turn my opinion on the overall flick.

    Angels & Demons: 7 out of 10.

Is that the one with Neve Campbell (who used to dance, BTW) in it? Like everybody except her is a real ballet dancer?

LMAO. I'm engaged actually. See, in real life I'm not the asshole I am on here. Oh, wait, no I am.

Been with her for four years this Wednesday. She's a saint to put up me. :)
