Has anyone seen 'It Follows'? We just watched it the other day.
Cool little movie. A great example of how context, framing and soundtrack can make the most innocuous thing seem creepy.

Primary Colors - Kathy Bates should have gotten the Oscar for best supporting actress. Awesome acting.

You don't like Neeson as Qui Gon? I've always though he was the highlight of that movie.

He was fine. The only bright spot.

The third movie was much better than the first two. Seems like they tried to force a little personality into Obi Wan and gave R2 som fun scenes.

The Magnificent Seven, the new one, is a good western. It's not a remake so much as a similar story. The vast is very good, Denzel is good but Chris Pratt is a scene stealer. It is worth seeing

I think society in general and your friends in particular need to keep you in their prayers.

This is the worst movie I have ever seen*

*or partially seen, as we turned it off after very disturbing scene about 2/3rds of the way through.

The only redeeming value is that it's given rise to the TigerVols Movie Axiom: If an animal is killed in the opening scene, don't watch the rest.

    Big Eyes.

Christopher Waltz as Walter Keane perfectly portrayed the no-talent narcissist taking credit for his wife's work, totally obsessed about his celebrity and the celebrities he met. Amy Adams had a very distinctive way of talking that made the movie just a little off kilter, like someone had turned it by about 3 degrees.

Rewatched Jaws for the first time in years. Some obversations that I may have missed previously or forgotten:

When hooper brings Brody wine at his house, and Brody pours hAlf the bottle into a pint glass.

How close they were to shore in the final attack.

The shark kills a dog just before killing the little kid on the raft.

    Mayor smokes in the hospital.
