Tyson is the best movie I've seen this year.

Came out a year too early, though.

I third the sentiment on Angels and Demons -- very much better than Da Vinci code. What is this Tyson you speak of?

I'm a little behind. Saw "Coraline" today and loved it.

Other than the nutty anomaly of You Sexy Thing, I thought the music was meh. I dunno if the writer of the novel the movie was based on was from Jersey, but it felt like a Jersey kid's fantasy about what the big city is about. Cera was fine, but it felt like the dialogue was more smart than was appropriate. Was much better and was allowed to have more depth in Juno.

Tonight, saw The Reaping. What a chaotic, silly mess. Also saw The Garden. Tom Wilkinson's performance was extraordinary and transcended a film that telegraphed far too much than a movie considered stellar should.

Finally saw Dark Knight. Very good flick.

Watched Journey to the Center of the Earth last night. Man, that sucked.

Apparently, Coraline is very dark. I have a friend who took his young daughter to it thinking it was a kid's film and was pretty pissed.

I know parents should check into content of movies before they take their kids, but I think most people would assume they were safe taking a 10-year-old to an animated Dakota Fanning film.

I think Tyson is the most fascinating athlete of my lifetime and it's not close.

Actually, every review of Coraline said to not take small kids to it. So we didn't.

There is some messed up shit going on in that movie.

    It's a classic.

Just watched "Thief" with James Caan and James Belushi for the first time. Hell of a good movie ... then again, Michael Mann rarely makes a bad one ("Miami Vice" being a major exception).
