Not as good as a I hoped. Not as a bad as I feared.
If you haven't seen it, you aren't missing anything.

Yeah, he was the helicopter pilot, right?
That movie went off the rails after a bit, but the casino heist was awesome.

That was my take as well when I watched it last night.

Howie lives on in the movies. The "Howie Scream" from Broken Arrow is reportedly the second-most used scream in the movies behind the Wilhelm scream. The Howie Scream though was actually originally from The Ninth Configuration

Pacific Rim sequel; awful. Boys enjoyed 1st one and I read a review that wasn't that bad. Sadly I was totally off. Good news was a family night with everyone (which is rare with teenager boys.) So still worth it.

With a setting like that, it's hard to screw up, either as a thriller or a serious spy movie. But they sure did....

    Just watched ‘Atomic Blonde.’
    Looked great.
Fight and action sequences were good.
Just looking at Charlize Theron is time well spent.

    Unfortunately not a good movie

  10. I was hoping for something better than Point of No Return (Bridgette Fonda), or Long Kiss Goodnight, both of which I like a lot.
Haven't seen Point of No Return in a long time.

Game Over Man is terrible. Has Netflix made a comedy movie that is any good? If it was half as funny as it was loud it might have been okay as a Die Hard spoof. But it never even connected there. I was embarrassed for everyone involved.

Another flight, another pair of movies.

Watched one I'd never heard of, Sweet Virginia, because I liked the cast. Good acting, but a pretty thin movie. Lacked substance in both plot and character. Guy who played the villain, Christopher Abbott, was very good, though.

Then The Disaster Artist. Enjoyed it, but not exactly life changing. I've never been able to finish The Room, because it's too painful. So I might not have been The Disaster Artist's target market.
