Other than Liam Neeson's acting, Taken didn't have a lot going for it.

The entire plot was preposterious so it's hard to nit pick over details.

Rachel Getting Married. Loved it, and saw a lot of my family in it. Not flattering. :)

Gran Torino. Wonderful performance by Clint and the Hmong family members. Him at the table with the older ladies serving him food was priceless; very similar to what my grandma and her friends would have done. Its one of life's little joys how people who cannot speak the same language can communicate so well at times.

We watched that a few weeks ago. I really disliked it, although I expected it to be good.
We watched 'Wendy and Lucy' last night. It was alright.

Chasing Amy is a 10 if you stop watching with 15 minutes left.

It's an 8 if you watch the shitty and boring ending.

Watched The Devil's Rejects again the other night on the DVR. Definite guilty pleasure flick with a callback to some solid horror films. Ken Foree from the original Dawn of the Dead is in there, along with the really creepy dude (Mars?) from the original The Hills Have Eyes.

Once. Absolutely fantastic. I've added it to my list of flicks I want to buy and watch over and over and over and over.

Oh, I had no idea you hadn't seen that! I fell so in love with that movie.

I wish I could see that movie again for the first time. I remember how happy I was leaving the theater. Such a rare treat to find a little movie like that.

And I'm sure you thought Dante's Peak and Volcano had nothing in common either.

I couldn't sleep one night last week and watched 'The Devil's Rejects.'
It was almost as bad as 'House of 1,000 Corpses.'
